In 2007 when Sunny signed on for six films with Vivid, she agreed to do scenes with only one man, her the then fiancé Matt Erikson. Her first movie under this contract, "Sunny Loves Matt" was also her first post-breast augmentation feature. Sunny announced her breakup with Erikson in January 2008. She has since then done scenes with other men, including James Deen and Tommy Gunn. In October 2008, she agreed to shoot movies exclusively for the Indian Richard Menon. Richard Menon is the founder and CEO of Ecstasyvision, one of the biggest adult film production houses in the US. The gossip is Sunny share some intimate relationship with Richard. Still her marital status was uncleared to us.

At this point, things have taken a little turn. Actor-cum-director Kamaal Rashid Khan has expressed his desire to marry Sunny Leone. After watching her pole dance in Bigg Boss, Kamaal Rashid Khan tweeted, "My God Sunny has killed me by her pole dance. I love her for her every expression. She is best in the world."
