AirAsia going to start its operation in India with a bang - Rs 990 price tag (all inclusive fare) for June 12 on Bangalore-Goa route. In near future the airline hopes to connect 10 Indian cities with its 10 aircraft.
This promotional Rs 990 offer will be there for first few days. However AirAsia strategically going to target AC first class travellers of Indian railways, so the price tag will remain moderate. There will be no business class as well, instead they are coming with a new concept of 'hot seat' - the aircraft will have some premium seats spread among general seats, those will have more leg space. More leg space for a little extra price, not a bad idea.
